As part of their current project, years 1 and 2 have been learning about electricity and how to create circuits. They were set the challenge of making a working lighthouse using lego. Years 1 and 2 had a fantastic day on their Muddy Education trip where they got to explore the forest around Holdendy House, become tree detectives and build dens for different animals. Check out the pictures from the day.Continue reading
Years 1 and 2 had a fantastic trip to Woburn Safari Park. On our guided tour, we saw lots of animals and had some cheeky monkeys using our coach as a playground. Whilst exploring the park, the children got to see squirrel monkeys being fed, stroke an elephant and have a hands on educational session about habitats. Here are a few photos from the day.
A warm welcome back to years 1 and 2 who, for their Autumn Term project, will be going on an African Safari. The children will be learning all about a variety of different animals, complete with a trip to Woburn Safari Park, and African culture.
