The School Day

The school day runs from 8:45am to 3:15pm. This provides children with a 32.5 hour school week in line with DfE guidance

Morning Session

8:45am - 12:00pm

The school gate opens at 8:35am and children should not arrive at school before this time. Children and families who are late must report to the school office.

Afternoon Session

1:00pm - 3:15pm

Children should leave the school promptly except when they are staying for a particular club or activity.

Please note that children will not be allowed to leave the school premises during school hours unless accompanied by a parent and signed out officially. If your child is to be collected from school by another adult, the school office will require authorisation from the parent.

Early Drop-Off Club on site from 7.45am

Afterschool Club on site from 3.15pm to 4.30pm

Attendance and Absence

Ensuring your child’s regular attendance at school is your legal responsibility and permitting absence from school without a good reason creates an offence in law and may result in prosecution. Failing to attend this school on a regular basis will be considered as a safeguarding matter.

If your child is absent you must contact us as soon as possible on the first day of absence preferably by 8.45 by phoning (a message can be left), emailing or delivering a letter or message personally to reception. If we have not heard from you by 9.30am we will attempt to contact you to discuss the absence
